ENES is 1 year old : renewal of the project

It has been one year day by day since the ENES project has been launched, aiming to dump undumped NES video games.

In one year, many things happened ... or at least too few becase since the beginning of the year (january 2005), informations became rare.
We lost a huge amount of time to try dumping the game Maniac Mansion. Really to much so as we lost of sight everything else ... and we still do not have dumped it yet.

However, we did not abandonned yet ... it is all the opposite. For our first birthday, we offer you 2 presents.

The first one is brand new website ! It is rather more flexible than the previous one even if the cosmetic side was changeless.
Our only way to exist for the audience is the communication. So we worked hard to let you informed at anytime, anywhere : RSS feeds, improved navigation, video games search engine, more accurate FAQs and further more, a new technical website hosting documentation, files and softwares.

This second website is based on the SourceForge plaftorm, well-known in the Open Source world. Well, at least we can say it now : the second present is simply ENES switching to Open Source.
More concretely, it means that the dumper schematics, technical documentation and all software used to manage Spaghetto are open to everybody.
In counterpart, all updates have to be submited to us in order to improve the project with your work too.

Since today, we let access to :
- libspaghetto (communication library)
- Carbonara (cartridges dumping)
- Documentation : Spaghetto (dumper schematics)
