No, the group is not dead but none of us are unemployed, time is precious.
However, work carries on. Today we unveil one of our work tool : "Ines Editor". It's a useful tool written in Java (so cross-platform) able to edit rom headers (in Ines format) of NES games. It's useful for us after a dump in order to modify the header. Without that the dump may not be recognized by the emulator.

At last but not least, we finaly managed the MMC1 problem but sadly "Maniac Mansion" still keeps us in trouble due to its specific memory handling. We bought another cartridge to analyse it further and in order to speed up the work.
